Beverly Hills
We journeyed to the USA’s most famous postcode, 90210. In the heights of Beverly Hills, overlooking Los Angeles, we captured Gaggenau in its most opulent setting. A 65 million dollar residence that serves as a part time home to Canadian born rapper and musician Drake.
"overlooking Los Angeles we captured Gaggenau in its most opulent setting"
The Brief
'We want to capture the sheer extravagance of the space, and the atmosphere of Beverly Hills.'
The Spy House
We visited Joan Dempsey, former director for the CIA during the Bush and Clinton administration, at her home, affectionately dubbed ‘The Spy House’ in Washington D.C.
The Brief
'Steeped in historic prestige Jacobsen Architecture is defined by clean lines, open spaces and a white-washed abundance of light. The late founder’s most defined project was Jackie Kennedy’s holiday home in Martha’s Vineyard. Capture the serenity of the space and Joan’s warm affable character.'

Villa Necchi for Milan design week
We arrived in Italy for Milan Design week where Gaggenau have built an interactive installation within the conservatory of Milan's historic Villa Necchi Campiglio. The appliances will be helmed by Christian Jürgens - chef at Germany's three Michelin star Restaurant Überfahrt and longtime Gaggenau collaborator.
The Brief
'Villa Necchi was an ambitious balance of tradition and avant-garde for its time, an aspiration Gaggenau shares. Capture details of the villa’s setting and the installation to tell that story of heritage and progress, art and technological advancement.'
"A Statement of Form"
"The fact that tradition does not exclude modernity will be demonstrated by Gaggenau"
Three Michelin star restaurant Überfahrt chef - Christian Jürgens.

L.A. Times
Michelle Chen, owner of the L.A. Times, cooked us her version of pasta pomodoro in the LA Times show kitchen, fully equipped with Gaggenau appliances. 'Many of Hollywood’s A list actors have been here at a soirée or event we have held,' she confides.

About the trip
This was an epic project. We covered seven countries and six states, capturing interiors, portraits and still life photography, as well as video footage for social. With a small crew and all our camera and lighting gear in tow, we overcame a host of logistical challenges to meet the client's schedule and deliver on their requirements. It was a trip filled with amazing locations and inspiring individuals.
